Municipal Court
The Municipal Court rules upon complaints brought before it by police officers and private citizens. It is a multi-jurisdictional court, covering both the City of Beaver Dam and Beaver Dam Township.
Complaints are prosecuted on behalf of the State of Wisconsin and for violations of municipal ordinance; the court handles matters involving motor vehicle and traffic law, municipal ordinances and quasi-criminal offenses such as assaults, drug offenses, thefts, shoplifting, harassment, trespassing, and similar infractions.
Court office hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 until 4:30. The court office is closed daily from 12:00-1:00. The court is located at 205 South Lincoln Avenue at City Hall [map].
